Quality Assurance
Cold-Chain Management by Product Requirement
Seafood quality depends directly on temperature, transit time, packaging condition and compliance with handling instructions.
Northern Star Food coordinates suppliers, carriers, inspection authorities and cold stores to maintain suitable conditions throughout import and delivery.
For frozen goods, target temperature and storage conditions follow the product file; lots are checked on receipt before storage or delivery.
Control Process from Supplier to Customer
Each lot is controlled against agreed specifications, import documents, temperature requirements and receiving checks.
Confirm Product & Specification
Agree the product name, species, processing form, size, packaging, shelf life, storage temperature and quality criteria before ordering.
Review Pre-Shipment Documents
Review commercial documents, certificate of origin, health certificate and Vietnamese labelling requirements.
Temperature-Controlled Transport
Select transport and equipment suited to live, fresh or frozen goods, and coordinate schedule and handover conditions.
Customs, Quarantine & Receiving
Coordinate customs, quarantine and specialised inspection, then check container, packaging and temperature on receipt.
Cold Storage & B2B Delivery
Goods move to the agreed cold store or site; lot information and related records are retained for reconciliation and traceability.
Documentation and Control Criteria
Northern Star Food does not claim certifications on behalf of producers. Applicable records and standards are checked by supplier, product and lot.
Origin Documents
Invoices, packing lists, producer information and certificates of origin are reviewed against commercial terms and preferential-tariff requirements.
Food-Safety Documents
Health certificates, quarantine records, self-declarations and Vietnamese supplementary labels are prepared as applicable to each product.
Specification & Lot Traceability
Scientific name, harvest or production area, lot number, production date, shelf life and storage conditions are checked against shipment records.
